toastie procedural writing

Hello,

We are learning procedural writing  and one of our tasks was to write how to make toasties!

How to make toasties

This tutorial will make your mouth water and it’s very simple and delicious ideal for breakfast.

EQUIPMENT/INGREDIENTS:

  • Toastie maker
  • bread
  • Butter
  • Cheese
  • Chicken Luncheon
  • Butter knife
  • Onions (optional)
  • Plate
  • shopping board
  • Other desired ingredients

STEP ONE:

Plug in your toastie maker and let it preheat. Depending on the size of your
machine, you will need a piece of bread for the top and bottom. Butter one side
of each piece.

STEP TWO:

Cut up your chicken luncheon and cheese or you also have an option to grate it
instead, and cut up some other desired insides. Then set them aside.

STEP THREE:

Put your bread in the toastie maker with the butter side facing down on the
machine so when you remove the toastie it won't stick. Place the cheese, chicken
luncheon, and the desired ingredients in the middle of the pieces of bread.

STEP FOUR:

Add the leftover pieces of bread on top and yet again make sure the butter side
is facing towards the machine. Let it cook until the bread is crisp but don't let
it burn!

STEP FIVE:

Carefully separate the bread from the machine with a butter knife without scratching
the toastie maker or burning yourself. Put the fresh toasties on a plate or chopping
board and cut where needed.

STEP SIX:

Eat and enjoy your toasties before your mouth overflows with water or before someone
else eats them for you.

I Hope you enjoyed reading my instructions because I really enjoyed writing it and had
fun!
